Randombird are Emma and Risetta Morley, a mother-and-daughter team providing experienced, remote production support for film and scripted television.

We offer a personal, collaborative service, taking care of the administrative and logistical work that sits behind a production — giving you experienced support without needing another person in the production office.

No project is too small. You might be an established production company needing an extra pair of hands, an independent producer looking for support with a particular project, or a new filmmaker making your first short film.

We can step in for a specific piece of work or provide support throughout a project, depending on what you need. We’re based in Wales, but because we work remotely, our services are available to productions across the UK, wherever you're based.

Services can be booked individually or combined, and we also offer affordable fixed-price packages for not-for-profit short films.

  • Production budgets, cost tracking and ongoing monitoring to help keep your project financially on course

  • Breaking down scripts and creating practical schedules to inform budgets, planning and production decisions.

  • Helping you put the practical systems, paperwork and processes in place before production gets busy.

  • Remote research and coordination of the practical requirements behind your production, from travel and accommodation to suppliers and facilities.

  • Preparing, issuing and tracking contracts and deal memos, including chasing outstanding paperwork.

  • Raising and tracking POs and keeping purchasing records organised and up to date.

  • Processing and tracking expenses, receipts, invoices and other day-to-day production financial paperwork.

  • Research into locations, crew, suppliers, facilities, travel, accommodation and other practical production requirements.

  • Trackers, records, filing, document control and the everyday paperwork that keeps a production organised.

  • Chasing outstanding paperwork, organising production records and helping get everything in order at the end of a project.

We Get to Work

We'll fit into the way you already work wherever possible. If your production uses Google Drive, Dropbox or another shared system, we're happy to work within it.

If you're starting from scratch, we can help you set up a simple shared filing system and trackers so everything is organised from the outset.

Once we've agreed the scope, timescale and cost, you can leave the agreed work with us and get on with making your production.
